Lost in You v0.1 public release + update schedule

The first version of Lost in You has been publicly released and features:
- 17,842 words (according to `wc -w dialogue.txt` anyway)
- 303 renders
- 18 main story events
- 14 character events

---

With the first public release out of the way I can now start focusing on future content. So when exactly can you expect development updates and more importantly, new releases?

I'm aiming to release game updates roughly every 3 months, with Patrons ($5 or above) getting to play updates 2 weeks before anyone else. As much as I would like to dedicate all of my time to working on Lost in You and release a new update every month, unfortunately my full-time job will claim a lot of that time. Based on the speed of development up to this point, I've assessed that roughly 3 months, give or take a few weeks here and there, would be an ideal balance between update size and keeping my audience engaged.

Between releases I want to keep all of my supporters up-to-date with progress on the next version through several channels:

Patreon updates
These will typically be larger updates and contain an estimated progress report.

Discord
I will occasionally post previews of stuff I'm actively working on (so don't expect all of it to look finished) in the LiY discord server: https://discord.gg/nGkDW7Ys2w

Polls
From time to time, you'll have the ability to vote on what you want to see in the next update through polls held on Discord. These polls are weighted based on your Patreon tiers with higher tiers providing extra voting power. Polls are accessible to anyone pledging at least $10.

Wallpapers
Additionally, as a thank you to my biggest supporters, anyone subscribed to a $50+ tier will have access to a library of wallpapers/custom scenes that will be posted here on Patreon. My aim is to make 1-2 wallpapers per game update, with at least one of them being based on a community poll.

---

I'm always open to feedback so please let me know if you have any ideas regarding pretty much anything LiY. Be it the Discord server, Patreon tiers/content, or the game itself.

Do note, however, that I have a clear vision of where I want to take this game (and I might share some of my design documents down the line to give you an idea of my workflow once they're no longer spoiler territory for future content), so keep that in mind when making suggestions that would impact the game's storyline. I will still gladly read what you have to say and if I like it and it fits with the game's narrative I might still give it a shot so don't hesitate to let me know!
