The NSFW parts aren't the best I've seen, but the story and world is solid and entertaining. The characters are great too, and I like their different personalities. Much respect for having characters with reasonably sized proportions. Tired of seeing so many of them with super-mega-gargantuan breasts. Then again I'm not that big of a breast guy so size doesn't matter to me, but I will say lil titties are adorableee :) So put that size where I actually like it, and where it's more realistic; the waist, hips, ass, and thighs.
Goddesses Whim (one of my favs), Dissonance, and Winds of the Destiny have some great ones. Scarlet Law has a few good ones, as does A House in the Rift, Adventurer Trainer (If you like Konosuba and Re:Zero), Ripples, Afterlife Harem, School of Love: Clubs, and Halfway House. Unfortunately for these and the other big eroge out there, they usually have characters of all types to service all wants, but favor bigger proportions in general. These are just ones that I remember having more petite girls or have reasonably believable proportions in comparison.
I love this game so much. Great lore even though the NSFW scenes are lacking, but it's not an issue anyway. And I love that they've mentioned Dissonance. It's one of those story visual novels with this kind of quality only found on itch like Winds of the Destiny, Goddesses' Whim (Not advertising it but is define recommended), and Dissonance (again not advertising, plus it's mentioned on the game). Wasn't expecting this game to have elements from LiL (sue me for not reading the desc and wanting to play another cute girl game) in it and my god did you do it well. Absolutely love the writing and character development. I'm excited to see where this story goes.

ok, so, i've played until a bit of Chapter 2, and i've not been paying attention to anything relared to this game's development yet, and i haven't finished the game yet, but.....can someone give some context as to why there seems to be none Saki interaction in chapter 2? Excluding the bad one, of course, but like, i also noticed that there seems to be just a little bit of content in chapter 2, so my question is also: There is gonna be more? Or is it the end? Because i am not gonna lie, from all the girls there, i mostly care just about 5 of them, with Saki being the number one, and with Toburo, was that her name? I mean, there seems to be only one more scene with her, from the point where i am in, at the second chapter, and as i said, i haven't finished the game yet, but could someone give me some context on that before i finish the game? The inspiration from Lessons in Love is VERY obvious, it's omnipresent, from musics, to themes (unfeeling dickhead focusing on his desires/Memory loss or finding himself somewhere without knowing how he got there/Seeing weird or fucked up things while hallucinating), character traits ("perfect" smart blond who's actually miserable/small girl with dead brother/cute girl working as a maid, MC obsessed with maids, spending all his money and flirting, maid girl acting like she doesn't like him and gets hurt ETC), major plot points (All of this being a game for the gods, MC losing his mind, THE FUCKING RESET), place names (Koi Cafe), outfits (Koi Cafe outfit, and more), syntax (the whole gods but with a straight lign going through it thing, even more so the same thing but three times in a row), scenes and character placements ( Seeing some backgrounds appearing in multiple games is nothing new, and isn't usually an issue, but when there are as many similarities as there are here it raises questions) you even put HEXADECIMAL which yeah isn't exclusive to LiL, but it's so frequent there, that it looks suspicious in a game that has soooo many references to an other game, to see it use one of said game's most used and niche feature. Anyways, I liked the game, it's like a lesser version of Lessons in Love, which we can see was a huge inspiration for it. But as the game goes on, the inspiration and the allusions to LiL start becoming too much, it becomes TOO similar, ffs you even show a still image of an EGG which I'm pretty sure is also a thing LiL did. I like the allusions to it, the little winks here and there, but when it becomes TOO similar and too many things are taken, it strays from inspiration and becomes a copy, plagiarism I don't want to accuse you of that because I don't think there's any bad intent, I think it's moreso on accident, you probably just wanted to add recognizable references and make them as frequent as possible but you did it too much. You should try to tone in down in future updates, pull yourself away from LiL and deviate from its plot, because the way it's going now, I don't think we'll be able to say it's only inspired and not a worse copy if it keeps going on like this.
Good evening, I'm a bit ignorant/dumb about VNs in general and I have a question. I played part 1 of Lost in You (by the way, I really liked it and was quite shocked at the time), at the time I didn't have part 2 ready yet. Now I want to play part 2 (but I'm too lazy to repeat all of part 1), is there any way I can do that? (You can respond with ignorance, I know I'm a bit stupid)
I don't think there is an option like that, just put the linear mode option and press skip, you would just have to stop and choose options (I don't think it will take that long to get to chapter 2 since it's not that long)
If you're on PC/Linux/Mac you should be able to just continue from a previous save (even if you deleted the game, saves are stored in a different folder). If you're on Android you can also just continue from a previous save unless you uninstalled the game, as that will take any saves files along with it.
I found and downloaded the Game today and I really enjoyed it and i'm almost done with chapter 1, but for some reason the event "Portal to someplace else" is not working even though i have finished all the Events necessary for it. No Matter how many in-game saturdays i try it Just doesn't occur. I would Love to continue the Game if I could
If you're absolutely certain you've completed all the prerequisite events, could you send me your save file so I can take a look at it and figure out what's wrong? You can find it in "Lost in You/game/saves" (if you have Discord, joining the Discord server would make things easier but feel free to just send the file here if you want).
Something you could try is changing the game to linear mode (under "Gameplay" in the settings menu) and then skipping to the next time slot, that should automatically trigger whatever event is up next (you can change it back right after that).

I downloaded this to just play a porn game. Now I'm clicking through dialogue with my pants on trying to figure out what's going on because I'm so invested in the story. I didn't expect this. I DIDNT EXPECT HEXADECIMAL CODE?!?!?!? This is actually amazing. I feel like I've stumbled onto a hidden gem. In chapter 2 I've received a pic that looks like it might be half of a link? I'm a little worried I'm missing something. But anyways the point is this has a ridiculous amount of depth and secrets and I'm having an amazing time!
I'm personally not the biggest fan of Python (largely because I generally dislike whitespace sensitive languages), but Ren'Py itself has been pretty nice to work with. It has its issues, which I sometimes have to work around, but all in all a great engine purpose-built for visual novels.
As for the horror tag... Unfortunately itch.io only allows up to 10 different tags, so I'm trying to optimise for tags that drive numbers (whilst obviously still being applicable to the game). If I recall correctly, I originally did have it, but it didn't pull the numbers the other tags did so swapped it out for a better performing one. I'd love to add it if this restriction wasn't a thing, but alas.
Now that i think about it, it's a bit more than just a meme, it's a life simulator in some ways more than others, tragedy, love, you get the idea. Well done dev. 10/10 from me. (also there should be a jumpscare warning in the title. Heart attack simulator.) Also, we better get scenes for Nami! She's too damn cute lol.

The story is amazing and I cant wait to see more. Ive never had an erection and been scared at the same time until now. The humor genuinely made me laugh as well. Such a great game

This game ended up being my favorite game without a doubt with the updates, environment and characters, it became the only game with which I look forward to the updates and with this new update with the 18 new events they really excite me and that is why I will support you in patreon with the childhood friend rank this summer from now on. (by the way, what do you mean by repeatable events?)
Thank you! Repeatable events are the short generic events you can trigger in the sandbox mode (either through visiting a location when there are no story events available there at the moment, or through the phone for certain characters) that you can repeat to raise affection/lust with characters, but have no impact on the story itself and are not listed in the event tracker.
There are reasons Kurumi's development is slower than others, which will start to be addressed soon (she has 2 events planned for 0.9, hint hint).
In regards to updating the game, depending on your platform:
Windows/Linux/Mac: Saves are stored outside the game folder, so deleting the game folder should still keep your saves. It's also possible to just overwrite files in the old folder with the updated ones.
Android: Installing the new apk (whilst still having the old version installed) should overwrite the old app and keep your saves.

The game is still in active development. We're only at the start of chapter 2, with a total of 3 chapters planned.

I actually use an engine called Ren'Py, not Unity. 😉 It's specifically built to make visual novels like Lost in You.

0.7 contains the first chapter 2 events and has been public since March. 0.8 releases publicly next week on the 24th.
