Revised update schedule/development cycle

Hi there!

Now that v0.2 is officially out for $5+ subscribers we look to the future, and I don't just mean v0.3... Based on the last few weeks, or even months of development I've decided to move to a semi-strict bi-monthly (8 weeks) release schedule. You heard it right, less waiting for updates! 😉

Concrete dates for upcoming releases as well as their working titles (which might give you a little hint, however vague it may be, as to what you can expect) are:

v0.3 (Preparations)

  • Subscriber release: June 30th
  • Public release: July 14th

v0.4 (Summer fever)

  • Subscriber release: August 25th
  • Public release: September 8th

1 week break

v0.5 (Jet lag)

  • Subscriber release: October 27th
  • Public release: November 10th

The 1 week break between v0.4 and v0.5 isn't entirely relaxation, as I'll be abroad on company business for a while. It also serves as a bit of a buffer (which I hopefully won't need) in case v0.4 requires a little more development time.

Please note that these are just estimates and are by no means set in stone. I will do my best to release on, or as close to the indicated dates as possible but I make no promises. That said, if current progress towards v0.3 is anything to go by, that June 30th deadline should be very doable!

Lost in You v0.2 releases to the public on May 19th.
